Moving to new offices has allowed the company to be able to successfully expand and will be adding a further 400 employees to the already 2,000 who work for them currently.
According to Gonçalo Lança, Senior Vice-President, Global Delivery Center Iberia at CGI, the company “seeks to offer the best opportunities in the market to new digital talents”. “We believe that technology contributes to making the world a better, more sustainable place and that our industry offers unlimited possibilities for people to grow. (…) With these new offices, we are even more confident in our ability to attract talent, despite the highly competitive market in which we operate”, he adds.
“Highly qualified professionals”
Carlos Lourenço, Senior Vice-President for Portugal at CGI, considers that “Portugal is a strategic market due to its highly qualified professionals and students”. “This investment reinforces CGI’s long-term commitment to our country, and allows us to be prepared for opportunities that involve new skills and new technologies”, he comments.
Laurent Gerin, President for Western and Southern Europe at CGI, also praises the consultancy’s new offices: “(…) We are convinced that it is essential to create a stimulating and welcoming work environment, where our employees can innovate and discuss ideas.
